Tibus brings the Odyssey Arena on to its fibre network
The Odyssey, Belfast's landmark Millennium Project, is one of Ireland's largest indoor venues and plays host to some of the world's best selling music artists as well as frequently hosting high profile sporting events such as boxing, basketball, wrestling and motorcycle trials.
The Odyssey Arena is also home to The Belfast Giants Ice Hockey team who regularly attract thousands of visitors to their home games.
Tibus have successfully brought the Odyssey on-net, connecting the venue via a fibre-cable provided by our partners Hibernia Atlantic. This provides the arena with the facility to broadcast their events on the Internet, or more traditionally on television, all at Gigabit speeds.
Visiting acts will also be able to use the fibre connectivity in the creation of their shows or for their backstage requirements. The Belfast Giants are the first to use the new Tibus fibre connection - now using it to broadcast their games online and in real-time at www.giantslive.tv.
