Tibus Delivers New Digital Foundation for NI Charity

A new website, designed and developed by Tibus has been launched for the George Best Foundation.
The George Best Foundation aims to promote a healthier lifestyle amongst young people and supports groups and individuals involved in, or caring for those with drug and or alcohol issues. The charity also supports vital medical research into alcohol and drug related issues. It does this by running events, programmes and donating funds to medical research establishments and universities.
Tibus were chosen to design and develop a professional looking, easy to navigate and engaging website; befitting of the charity's profile and activities. The result has been a resounding success. Whilst being informative, intuitive and innovative in design, the website is also, most importantly, an effective fundraising tool for the Foundation.
Funds can be raised through online donations, purchases from the official shop and by visitors registering to become a fundraiser. 'PayPal' and 'Just Giving' have been integrated into the website seamlessly for online purchasing of shop items and donations respectively. Social Media is high on the agenda for the George Best Foundation, highlighted best by its use of Facebook. The fan base of over 21,000 is growing steadily and the website makes it easy for visitors to connect and share with the Foundation on Facebook.
Built using Tibus' HandsOn Content Management System, the George Best Foundation admin team can easily update their news and events sections, upload videos, manage their online store and much more.
