New Website is Just the Ticket for Audiences NI

A brand new website developed by Tibus for Audiences NI, allowing people to 'Test Drive the Arts' across Northern Ireland is now live.

Test Drive the Arts NI is an audience development initiative, funded by Belfast City Council and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. Similar initiatives have run across the UK and further afield, including Sweden and Australia. Test Drive the Arts takes the concept of taking a car for a test drive and applies it to the arts. Its main aim is to encourage a greater number of people to attend future paid for events by giving them a taste of the arts for free. The scheme uses unsold tickets and therefore availability is strictly limited.

A range of arts organisations are involved in the initiative, including Belfast Film Festival, Belfast Waterfront Hall, The Grand Opera House, Lyric, Moving on Music, Queen's Film Theatre, The Ulster Hall and Ulster Orchestra with many more to come.

The main feature of the new website developed on Tibus' 'HandsOn' Content Management System is an event information and an online application system. Built into this functionality are automated email alerts for visitors who wish to receive them. The website also integrates with the Culture NI database for accurate, real - time event information and event allocations. Test Drive the Arts also showcases venues, has the ability to run online competitions and provides detailed information on how to apply and have a successful 'Test Drive of the Arts'.
