Enterprising New Portal Launched for Local College

South Eastern Regional College have successfully launched their Enterprise Portal for Business and Innovation. The site is to be used as a central resource for all staff, students and campuses involved in business enterprise and innovation.
South Eastern Regional College or SERC, the new name for Lisburn Institute of Further & Higher Education, North Down & Ards Institute of Further & Higher Education and East Down Institute of Further & Higher Education have successfully launched their Enterprise Portal for Business and Innovation.
For this project SERC required a dedicated website to provide up-to-date advice, news, events and learning resources, which would provide information and advice to students who are contemplating setting up a business or exploring enterprise.
Built with Tibus' HandsOn Content Management System, the SERC Enterprise Portal allows SERC staff to upload a range of web content, videos, documents and other resources to specific enterprise categories, from ICT through to Health and Beauty. Students also have the ability to securely login to their own web space, amend their profile and amongst a wide range of functionality, test their skills with a selection of online enterprise quizzes, all aimed at testing their suitability for starting their own business and entrepreneurship.
