Background & Brief

The Irish Internet Association is the professional body for those conducting business via the internet from Ireland. Established in 1997, the IIA has over 400 members and it provides leadership to enterprises and society conducting business in Ireland.

With the core aim of the organisation to Connect, Inform and Promote, the IIA recognised the need to put in place a strategy that would enable them to conduct their core business online.

Tibus was commissioned to analyse the IIA’s communication and operational needs and from this process a specification for delivering an enhanced online presence was agreed.

  • Design, development and delivery of the public facing IIA website, providing information on member organisations, events and resources for members and the general public.
  • Membership management system providing the facility to register online with full administrative support information available to the IIA.
  • Full events management from promotion of an event and registration through to extracting attendee information.
  • Membership extranet area empowering members to manage their online profile, publish news, events, jobs and feeds which are made available on the public website.
