Background & Brief
The Institute of Public Health is funded by the Department of Health and Social Services and Public Safety in Northern Ireland and the Department of Health and Children in the Republic of Ireland. Established in 1999 to promote co-operation for public health on the island of Ireland, its remit includes providing public health information and surveillance; strengthening public health capacity and advising on policy.
Tibus works closely with the Institute’s senior administrative staff and specialist 3rd party IT support advisor, offering a single point of contact for all Internet related issues and queries – whether the question originates in Belfast or Dublin.
